What is Post of the Week (or POW)?
Every Saturday, CN selects the most popular post from the previous week in each course and Network. We call this selection Post of the Week (POW). POWs are selected based on the total rating a post received. For example, if a post received 5 one-star ratings, 3 two-star ratings, and 6 three-start ratings, its POW score is 1X5 + 2X3 + 3X6 = 29. If more than one post received the same number of points, the post containing more words will be the winner; If the number of words is the same, the post created latest will be the winner. The creator of POW receives an additional 25 Anar seeds. POW winners of courses also receive a POW badge that will be added to the user's ePortfolio automatically. Post of the Week is designed to encourage CN members to write high-quality posts by offering them extra Anar seeds and social recognition incentives.
