Save ePortfolio as PDF

When using the print ePortfolio feature, you can save your ePortfolio as a PDF rather than printing it out. The option for doing this is slightly different in each browser.

To start out, click the Print ePortfolio button on your ePortfolio. Then click on either the "Print Default ePortfolio" or the "Customize and Print ePortfolio" button.

Note: Customize and Print ePortfolio is only available to Premium CN Members. 

Next, the print window will automatically open. If not, please click the Print link in the upper left corner of the first page. 

Below are a few examples of how different browsers and operating systems allow you to Save as PDF instead of printing. 

Google Chrome

In Google Chrome, click on the dropdown for Destination. Then you can select Save as PDF from this dropdown. The Print button at the top will change to Save, which you can then click to save your PDF.

Firefox and Safari on Mac

When using other browsers on a Mac computer, there will be a dropdown in the footer that says PDF. You can click on this dropdown to Save as PDF.

When using a browser (besides Google Chrome) on a Windows computer, you can click on the Printer Name dropdown to select Adobe PDF.

Making Changes to Exported ePortfolio

If you have Adobe Acrobat, open the exported PDF file, you can Export To Microsoft Word to make changes to the ePortfolio that you saved.
