Step 1: Accessing the Import Feature
In the Publications section of your CN ePortfolio, click “Import Publications” in the upper-right corner.
Step 2: Linking Your ORCID Account
Click on the "Connect" button next to the ORCID option in the "Import Publications" pop-up to be redirected to ORCID.
Step 3: Login ORCID and Authorize Access
After selecting "Connect", sign into your ORCID account using your email or 16-digit ORCID ID and password.
Once logged in, authorize CourseNetworking to access your list of publications by clicking "Authorize access". This will complete the link between your ORCID account and CourseNetworking ePortfolio, allowing your publications to be imported.
Step 4: Initiating Import
You will see two options once you are connected to your ORCID account: "Import" and "Disconnect". Click "Import" to import your publications into your CourseNetworking ePortfolio.
Step 5: Selecting and Importing Publications
The publications under your ORCID account are now displayed in a pop-up. Select the ones you wish to import into the Publications section of your ePortfolio by checking the boxes next to each title, then click "Import" at the bottom to finalize the process and add them to your ePortfolio.
Step 6: Viewing Imported Publications
The selected publications should now be automatically populated in the Publications section of your ePortfolio.
