Sign in with Google

When you visit the CN website and click Sign Up or Login, you will see the "Sign in with Google" button at the bottom of the pop-up. 

The Sign in with Google Sign option works for both individual and institutional users. This option helps simplify your CN sign-up and sign-in process.

Individual users: Sign in using your personal Gmail account. 

Institution users: Sign in using your institution's Gmail account. If your institution's CN admin has configured Google for CN authentication, you will be automatically placed in your institution's CN Channel. 

If you are currently logged in to your Google account in the browser, click Sign in with Google, and you will be directly taken into CN.

If currently you are not logged in to any Google account in the same browser,  click Sign in with Google, and you will be prompted to log into a Google account. 

If your Gmail has never been associated with a CN account, you will get a new CN account and be prompted to agree to CN terms:

After accepting the terms, remember to go to your CN profile/ePortfolio page to complete basic information because the Google sign-in approach doesn't give you an opportunity to fill out basic user information (i.e. Country, Field of Study) during the sign-up process.

Please note: You may still set up a CN Password to log in to CN using your CN# or email address when needed.
