Courses/Networks Menu Display Logic

• The left menu on the Home page displays your courses and Networks, grouped by offering institutions. 
• The header of each section displays the name of the institution that offers the courses and Networks.
• Your personal courses and Networks are displayed at the bottom as the last section but can be moved up.
• On this menu, courses have a square logo, Networks have a circle logo. After a course ends (the course due date has passed), it becomes hidden from the menu. But you can make it visible again by editing the menu.

• The left Courses/Networks menu and the Courses dropdown are identical. You may use either one to access courses and Networks. Editing the left menu would update the Courses dropdown as well.

Collapse Sections

Clicking on the chevron (arrow) icon will collapse or expand the section.

Edit Courses/Networks Menu

Clicking on the pencil icon at the top will let you edit the Courses/Networks menu.

The Edit Course/Network Menu page (see screenshot below) allows you to decide how you want the items to appear in the left menu.

• You can reorder the institutions by clicking and dragging from the nine-block icon in front of the institution’s name. You can also reorder courses and networks by using the arrows on the right side.
  • To the right of each institution's name is a chevron (arrow) icon used to collapse or expand each section. This can be used to make it easier to reorder the institution sections.
• In the upper-right corner of each section and item are three icons: an eye icon and two arrow icons.
  • Clicking the eye icon will hide the institution section or a course/Network from the left menu completely. An item is hidden once the eye icon has a line through it. Click it again to unhide it from the menu.
    
  • Clicking either of the arrow icons allows you to move that section or course/Network up or down one spot. You can use these icons to reorder the sections without having to click and drag. 

After editing the list, remember to click the blue SAVE button at the top of the page. You will see the changes being applied immediately to the left menu.
