Step by Step Guide: How to Submit a Post from the Task Tool
STEP1: Click on the module or task associated with the assigned post, then click on the blue linked text (Smartlink) and a prompt will appear
STEP2: Type your post and title it with the assignment or task name or topic
STEP3: Attach relevant multimedia, files, etc to the post
STEP4: Click on the blue submit button
HINT: Remember it is always good to practice the use of hashtags with your discussion topic.
HINT: If your instructor requires a specific word count, your post won’t gain any Anar seeds unless you have met the minimum word count requirement
STEP5: After you submit your post, you can go back to the blue linked text (SmartLink) in the task and notice that the number of submitted posts has updated, meaning your post was successfully submitted. You can click on this number link to filter all of the posts submitted on the topic to view.
To summarize, when there are prompts to create specific posts in tasks, create the posts from the task. At the same time, you can always create general posts related to the course subject from the Blue Post tool at the top of your course page.
