If your course instructor prompts you to submit a post from the Task tool, you should click the specific SmartLink to create the post. Watch the video or read the step by step guide below to learn how to submit a post from the Task tool.
Step by Step Guide: How to Submit a Post from the Task Tool
STEP1: Click on the module or task associated with the post activity, then click on the blue linked text (SmartLink) and a prompt will appear.
STEP2: Type your post following the instructions.
STEP3: Attach relevant multimedia, files, etc to the post
STEP4: Once done creating the post, click on the blue Submit button.
HINT: Remember it is always good to practice the use of hashtags with your discussion topic.
HINT: If your instructor requires a specific word count, your post won’t gain any Anar seeds unless you have met the minimum word count requirement.
STEP5: After you submit your post, you can go back to the blue linked text (SmartLink) in the task and notice that the number of submitted posts has updated, meaning your post was successfully submitted. You can click on the course submission number link to filter all of the posts submitted on the topic.
To summarize, when there are prompts to create specific posts in tasks, create the posts from the SmartLink in the task. At the same time, you can always create general posts related to the course subject from the Blue Post tool at the top of your course page.
