Apply User Labels

You can apply user labels in the following places in CN Channel:

1. Institution Reports

To filter users by a specific label on Institution Reports, you can use the Apply User Labels dropdown. Please note that if you add any labels to this report, the Generate Graph button will be disabled. Labels are only supported for generating CSV reports.

If you select more than one label, you’ll have to define how you want the report to filter the users with these labels with the User Must Have dropdown. By default, “All of the selected labels” will be selected, which means that the report will only show users who have all of the labels you’ve selected. If the second option is selected, “At least one of the selected labels”, then the report will show users who have at least one of the labels you’ve selected.

 2. User General Reports, Student Reports, and Instructor Reports

You can filter the reports from User General Reports, Student Reports, and Instructor Reports by User Label. Under “See Report On”, select the “Select users based on User Label” option. A dropdown will appear for you to select the label to filter users by. Currently, only one label can be selected for these three reports.

3. Question Banks

When creating question banks from the Manage Question Banks page, you can apply user labels to each question bank. Any instructor who has at least one of the labels you select will have access to this question bank.
