Step 2. Adding CN ePortfolio (Course-level) as an Activity in a given course (Can be done by both course instructor and Moodle admin)
After adding CN ePortfolio (Course-level) as an external tool to your institution Moodle, each instructor is able to go to their course and make CN ePortfolio (Course-level) an activity. Moodle admin can also do this for instructors based on institution policy.
To add CN ePortfolio (Course-level) to courses, an instructor or admin can go to the course and click “Turn Editing On”, and then click “Add an activity or resource”. From the list, choose “External tool” and click Add.
For the final step, fill out the form below and click on save.
- Activity name: CN ePortfolio (or another name that captures the purpose of the activity)
- External tool type: select "CN ePortfolio (Course-level)".
Now the CN ePortfolio (Course-level) LTI tool is available to course members. Clicking the generated tool link, course members will be taken to the CN ePortfolio course interface, and from there they can access their CN ePortfolio.
