Link Your LMS Course/Platform to Full CN (for Instructors)

As you may know, CN Post is the simplified version of the full CN. It doesn’t have learning management features such as Syllabus, Task tool, DropBox, GradeBook, Quizzes etc., which your LMS already provides. When you click through your LMS course, CN Post is the default view. However, you can change your settings to link your LMS course or platform to the full CN. Here is how:

STEP1: Click the CN Post tab/link in your LMS. It could be on the left course menu, in the Modules tool, or somewhere else. After the tab/link is clicked, in most cases you should see CN Post open in a new browser window. If CN Post does not open in a new browser window automatically, you need to click the blue "Open CN in a New Window" by yourself. 

STEP2: On the CN Post page, click the three-line icon in the upper-left corner to open the left CN Post menu. From the left menu, click Settings, and then click Integration Settings.

STEP3: On the Integration Settings page, you should see CN Post is selected by default. This indicates your current view.

Click the radio button next to the Full CN option to switch the integration from CN Post to full CN. This switch will be saved automatically.

STEP4: From now on, if you or your students click the CN Post link/tab from your LMS course, the full version of your CN course will open.

Want to switch back to CN Post? If you connected your LMS course to full CN by mistake or you've decided to connect back to CN Post, you can follow the steps listed below anytime to switch the integration back:

STEP1: Click the course settings gear icon next to the course title. From the dropdown, select “Integration Settings”.

STEP2: On the Integration Settings page, click the radio button next to the CN Post option. This change will be saved automatically.

STEP3: From this point on, if you or your students click the CN Post link/tab from your LMS course, CN Post will open again.
