Instructors can edit or delete questions before a quiz is published. After all of your questions are added to the quiz simply click done. If you previously chose to publish your quiz at a specific time, it will become published to learners on its own when the publish date approaches. If you chose to manually publish your quiz, it will remain unpublished until you click on the green “publish” button. Again, unpublished quizzes are not available to learners. They don’t see these quizzes anywhere in their course site.
When finished with the quiz, click done. You can always go back and edit the quiz settings or individual questions by clicking on the pencil icons. Preview the questions by clicking on the magnifine glass or delete them by clicking on the trashcan.
Manually publish your quiz if there is not a set publish date, or publish it before the date by clicking publish.
Note1: if a quiz is not published, students don't see it. A quiz only appears to students in Quizzes, DropBox GradeBook and other places of a course after it is published.
Note2: Instructors have to unpublish a quiz to be able to edit it. If a quiz has already received submissions, certain things will not be allowed to change:1. record score of which attempt, 2. number of questions, 3. question types, 4. question point value.
