This article is to guide instructors to select a badge to issue to students for completing a course.
STEP1: First, instructors must access the Set Course Completion Settings window. You can find the window by clicking on the "Course Completion Settings" option from the gear dropdown located next to the Task Tool.
STEP2: First add course completion conditions. Then at the bottom of this window, check the "Award Course Completion badge..." option. If you do not want to use the default Course Completion badge, you can select another badge. Every badge that is available to you in this course (all badges created by you, your institution, and CN’s Predefined Course Badges) are listed in this dropdown.
Note: To add another badge to this list, you can go to the Badges page and create a new badge.
After you select a badge from this dropdown, click on the SAVE CONDITIONS button. This new badge will now be issued to your students whenever they complete the course and claim completion of course.
To view the recipients of this badge, go to the Badges page and click on the number that is next to the badge.
Hint: Any badges that are issued to your students based on course completion conditions will have an Award Criteria that says “Course Completion”.
